“Austrian Standards International – Standardization and Innovation” (ASI) is the recognized standardization body in Austria, a non-profit service organization founded in 1920. It is part of a national, European and international standardization network: the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
Austrian Standards International cooperates with the Austrian Electrotechnical Association (OVE), which is responsible for standardization in the electrotechnical field being member of CENELEC and IEC.
